Well, we’ve had a pretty good day here at the Perry ranch. My Clie and I hope that everyone enjoyed themselves and had a wonderful holiday. I know I did. There was roast beef and potatoes and all sorts of delicious things for dinner so I’m sitting contently here at my desk looking for PalmOS software. Tomorrow I’ll probably be going to get some memory sticks but the “after Christmas sales” might scare me into staying home. I don’t do well when I’m forced to shop in “herd” form. That’s what Amazon.com is for.
Oh, to all you handheld owners out there… I need to know some software recommendations. I’m in the dark on this one, it’s a whole other software world. Any suggestions?
Anyway, I hope everyone is enjoying themselves. Merry Christmas to all. G’night.

Well, when Lauren sends holiday cards, she doesn’t fool around. I got not 1, not 2 but 5 cards in the mail today. I must say, I feel very loved at the moment and I’m sure that was her intention. I love you hun!
I also got a bit of Christmas shopping done today. My brother and I made our way to the extremely over crowded mall to look for gifts for my parents. My Dad had expressly told us not to get him something but to find something nice for our mother… well, they’re both getting something. We found a few nice things and spent way more than we planned to so I hope they like them. I also was looking for a “little something” to finish off my gift buying for Lauren. I have her main present but I wanted a little mini-present or two to go along with it. Unfortunately I didn’t find anything to my liking so I’ll have to go back after Christmas.
Tomorrow I’m going to mix a CD or two and drink some eggnog. I’ll probably wrap presents at some point too. Then on Christmas we’re just staying around here, having a nice day and dinner together and then going across town later at night to have dessert and coffee with my uncle. The “Perry family Christmas” will actually be happening the following Saturday at my aunt Lisa’s house. So, it should be a fun week.
I hope everyone is having a great vacation, getting some well needed down-time and getting to spend a little holiday cheer with loved ones. May good fortunes and well wishes be with all of you.
G’night.

Well, today it seems I’ll be spending all day with my family. My brother is home from school and they seem to want to take me out to dinner for my birthday. I asked for Longhorn, Olive Garden or The Outback. My brother had the idea of seeing Lord of The Rings as a family since no one other than me has been able to see it. I don’t really mind seeing it again, it wasn’t too bad. I think we might be going to Outback since it just happens to be next door to the movie theater. We’ll see though.
I also talked to my mom about getting the Clie and she seemed to think it was possible but I would have to use the money my grandparents sent me for Christmas as well. I figured as much and had actually planned on doing that anyway. So, I’m looking up places with the best prices. So far CompUSA is winning with $299 but SonyStyle.com has it for $349 and a free leather case. CompUSA seems more realistic. We’ll see what happens.
Matt out.

Well, another birthday come and gone. I’d like to thank Lauren and Nagle for calling me and wishing me a happy birthday, my Aunt Lisa for saying she’d make me cookies and Chris and Josh for taking me out to get some dinner and drinks. Chip was nice enough to invite me to dinner last night which was also tasty although he disappeared today. I wonder what happened to him? It wasn’t such a bad birthday. I woke up to my parents being gone to a hockey tournament and a vague note saying they “might” be home for dinner. So, rather than waiting on them I gave Chris and Chip a call. Chris came over soon after and we decided to see if Josh was in town as well. We couldn’t get a hold of Chip so just the 3 of us headed off to Nashua. We stopped at Newbury Comics for a little while before heading to Margaritas on Main St. After dinner we stopped back at CompUSA so Josh could buy a copy of Tony Hawk 4 for the XBox which we then drove home and tried to play. TH4 is nearly unplayable on the XBox do to the size of the controller. We ended up playing something else instead before Chris and I called it a night and headed home. Believe it or not, that was around 9:30. I’ve been watching TV on the couch since I got home. So, it wasn’t such a bad birthday after all. My parents offered to take me out to dinner tomorrow so that good. I didn’t even get a card from them though, which is kind of disappointing. I’ve gotten over it.
Well, that’s about it. Not much else to say. “Another day older and deeper in debt” as the song goes. G’night.

Well… I’m 22. Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me… happy birthday dear Matt… ah fuck it, who am I kidding.
There’s a note on the counter mentioning that my parents are gone to a double-header hockey tournament this afternoon. They don’t know when they’ll be back but that we “might have time to get food if it’s not too late.” How nice of them. My plan of sleeping until 4 in the afternoon as gone horribly wrong mostly because of the damn phone which won’t stop ringing. If they were birthday well wishers that would be one thing, but when a telemarketer wakes you up at 8am on your birthday you just have to unleashe a little anger in their general direction. Hopefullt AT&T got the hint this time. Then again, maybe I was swearing so much they couldn’t understand what I was getting at.
I think at this point I’ll probably just get up. I don’t have any plans for the day and nor should I. I’ll leave the house at someone’s request but I’m not going out of my way to do anything in perticular. Since my parents leave for my birthday each and every year my usually routine is to order a pizza with there credit card and watch movies all day. Too bad I can’t find they’re credit card.
I don’t know. I don’t even know why I’m writting this. No one gives a shit. I should just go back to bed. I hate birthdays. They don’t make me feel “happy or special”, they make me feel like shit. No one is ever around for them, my parents dont care and my gifts just get added to Chirstmas. So whats the point in having a birthday in the first place.
