Time to catch up on some want lists. These are mostly for me and my organizational skills (or lack thereof), but if you happen to have any of these, I’d love to talk to you about a trade.

2013 Bowman Platinum

I’m on the fence about finishing this up this year. I finished 1-100 on 2012, and 90% of the prospects. This year BP completely disappeared from my local stores the day Topps Football came out. I literally can’t find it at this point. So, I either buy a hobby box (not going to happen), or someone happens to have a great deal of these and we can work something out. If I’m not able to find more than half of these right off the bat, it might not be worth pursuing.

Base cards: 1-100

Missing the following (37):

2-5, 7, 11-12, 16-19, 23, 25, 32, 36, 37, 41, 44, 45, 48, 51, 52, 56, 60, 67, 70, 73, 77, 79, 82, 84, 85, 88, 95, 96-98

Prospects: BPP1-100

Missing the following (40):

1, 2, 8, 9, 10, 13, 15, 16, 17, 24, 26, 29, 34, 39, 41, 45, 48-50, 53, 55, 56, 58, 60, 61, 66-69, 71, 74, 79-81, 83, 86, 90, 92, 96, 100

2013 Allen & Ginter Red Sox Minis

Thanks to Sam, who found 4 more for me, I now only have 3 Red Sox minis left to find from Ginter this year. I don’t care what backs they have.

Missing the following (3):

Ortiz, Pedroia, Rice

2013 Gypsy Queen Red Sox Minis

I also counted up all my missing GQ minis from the last two years. I have quite a few of these to go, I actually thought I was closer than this.

Missing the following (6):

Buckner, Ellsbury, Ortiz, Middlebrooks (normal, not SP), Rice, Williams

2012 Gypsy Queen Red Sox Minis

Last but not least, the minis from 2012. I thought I was nearly done with these since I had so many, but when I started putting them into the mini-pages, I realized I had a lot of dupes and parallel versions, and not the regular base minis. I even have all the SP photo variations, and not the regular versions of the same player. Go figure. I’m missing more from this set than from 2013.

Missing the following (9):

Youkilis, Gonzalez, Crawford, Ortiz, Fisk, Yaz, “Sliding Stars” Ellsbury, “Sliding Stars” Pedroia

There, now that I’ve written those all down in this post, I can throw away the pile of post it notes that have been cluttering my desk. Yay! Now, if I could only find time to do something about my card room/man cave…
