Another week gone by. Damn. I wish B&H would ship my damn supplies so I could print portfolio work and start sending’em off to potential jobs. I think this weekend I’ll be able to scan my color and studio negatives so I can at least have them up here on the site. I’ve got quite a bit of homework this week and quite frankly, I’m not interested in doing any of it. Sequential class has become more of a pain in the ass than the fun class I imagined it to be and this first assignment in color is merely a refresher and I could care less. At least this evening will be mildly interesting. We’ve rented a few movies (2 for 1 night at Hollywood Video) and I’m going to order pizza in about an hour, so it should be an interesting night. We got Life as a House, Curse of the Jade Scorpion, The Last Castle and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Jade Scorpion was one I’ve wanted to see for a while, I like Woody Allen for some reason. Life as a House was one that Lauren wanted to see and the other two were mutual. The Last Castle is the Robert Redford flick with the guy from the Suprano’s (James Gandolfini) and Cuckoo’s Nest is simply a classic.

Onto other topics… If you’ve ever downloaded something that was really really mislabled or you’re looking for something but not sure if it’s in “circulation” yet, check out the ISO News. They’ve got constantly updated lists of whats out, whats been leaked and what’s been ripped. They’re no links or hints of where to get anything, but it’s a good starting point.

Also a good starting point is the CPU Price Guide at HardCoreWare. They’ve got weekly updated prices on most major CPUs on the market. A good place to check out if you’re in the market for a new chip or just trying to figure out if you got taken to the cleaners on a price.

That’s about it. Later.
