Well, I “borrowed” my parents modem for a few minutes to check my mail. Luckily it worked. I’m writing this from my computer rather than their’s. I had around 80 emails, all but 6 of them spam. How does that happen? I’d really like to know. I’m not on any mailing lists, message boards, anything. The only website that has my email address is Amazon.com and they say in their legal jargon that they don’t sell user information. So… where is all this coming from. Maybe I’ll ask Chip to set up a Spam filter for me… But, anyway, that’s not the point. The point is that I can check my email. Huzah! That doesn’t mean I’ll be able to check it every night, or even nearly every night, but when I’m able to disconnect their modem and set it up on mine, I’ll be able to get email. Man, I can’t wait to get back to GA… well, scratch that, I can’t wait till I get back to a nice connection. I don’t care where it is. Ok, now that I’m done checking MY email, I guess it’s time to do something for the day. I don’t know what, but something.
